Bronwyn Harris holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MA in Psychology, from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has also examined issues of race, gender, identity and prejudice in the context of countries transitioning to democracy. She is currently working on an overview of health policy in post-apartheid South Africa and the Health Systems Knowledge Network Hub of the WHO Commission on the Social Determinants of Health.

Research Interests

Her research background includes exploring violence, transition and trauma in relation to refugees, ex-combatants, vigilantes and school-going youth.
