
Download the Ethics Alive 2010 report RADIO TODAY BROADCASTS - ETHICS ALIVE WEEKAs part of the publicity for the Ethics Alive week, arranged by the Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics, the Dean, Professor Helen Laburn, visited Radio Today to read the citation of one of our esteemed academics and clinicians, Professor Yosuf (Joe) Veriava. Professor Veriava, Professor Trefor Jenkins and Professor Phillip Tobias (two other Wits academics involved in the famous Steve Biko case) were interviewed also. As the topic of human and patient rights unfolded during the recordings, it became clear that there was much more than one evening?s worth of broadcast material. Thus Radio Today?s In Town Tonight presenter/producer, Dr Ivan May, created a series of three broadcasts, which were aired over three weeks:
