AJ Orenstein Memorial Lecture 2010

The Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, is proud to announce that the 2010 AJ Orenstein Memorial Lecture will be presented by Professor Jir?vor? Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology, Spine Unit, Schulthess Clinic, Switzerland, FIFA Chief Medical Officer and Chairman, F-MARC (FIFA Medical Assessment and Research Centre).

The title of the lecture is:

Is football healthy and can health be improved by playing football? FIFA medical legacy for Africa.

Professor Dvor?will address issues around the positive aspects of football, research conducted by FIFA and how to implement the activities of the research results into daily life in the framework of FIFA?s ?Football for Health? programme.
