Summary of research interests:

  • Derivation of phase diagrams, both experimentally and by computation, to enable the development of alloys for specific applications, including: structural, shape memory.
  • Characterisation of alloys in terms of microstructure and phase analysis, employing a number of techniques: Platinum based alloys, WC-VC-Co alloys and stainless steels.
