Dr Andile Ngcaba

has devoted most of his life and career to the field of technology, in particular communications. Currently he is the Managing Director of Elephant Consortium and the Executive Chair for Dimension Data SA, a subsidiary of Dimension Data plc.

Azar Jammine

Dr Azar Jammine

Director and Chief Economist of Econometrix and is a well-recognized and respected economist – with over forty years of experience, Dr Jammine has established himself as one of the foremost economists in the country.

Donald Gordon

Sir Donald Gordon

South African property , insurance magnate and philanthropist. He is the Honorary Life President of Liberty International PLC, UK, and in 2005 he was awarded a knighthood in recognition of his services to the arts and business.

Gavin Hood

Mr Gavin Hood

Filmmaker who dropped his career in law to enter the movie business. He is best known for writing and directing the Academy Award-winning Foreign Language Film Tsotsi, among his other highly acclaimed movies In Desert, Wilderness, The Storekeeper

Mr Goolam Ballim

Chief Economist and Global Head of Research for the Standard Bank Group. He leads a unit which analyses financial and commodities markets as well as macroeconomic and socio-political themes. The division's emphasis is on emerging markets, especially Africa.

Jacob Modise

Mr Jacob Modise

Jacob was the former Group Financial Director and Chief Operations Officer of Johnnic Holdings Limited, a company listed on the JSE Securities Exchange. Prior to joining Johnnic he occupied senior finance positions at Eskom Limited, Teljoy Holdings Limited, and JCI.

is the Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Director of Investec Asset Management. She hold numerous qualifications, including a B Com degree from Wits, and was previously named Business Woman of the Year in South Africa

Founder of Afripalm Resources (Pty) Ltd and serves as its Chairman. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Ltd. and Anglo American plc and now sits on the board of many South African blue chip companies.

Chief Economist of the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Ltd. (IDC). He is a Non-Executive Director of ArcelorMittal, a Director of KWV Limited and is an Economic Advisor of Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa.

Malose Kekana

is the Chief Executive Officer of Umsobomvu Fund. He founded Prodigy Capital, which in conjunction with Prodigy Asset Management launched the Prodigy Transformation Fund. Mr. Kekana has strong grounding in investment evaluation, deal negotiation and structuring.

Best known for chairing the King Committee on Corporate Governance, which issued three comprehensive reports in 1994, 2002 and 2009 endorsing an integrated and inclusive approach to corporate governance in South Africa.

Non-Executive Director of Nedbank Group (2010). He is the former Chief Executive of Nedbank Group. He was the Former chief executive of BOE Limited. He was the Director of the Banking Council in South Africa and spent four years with Anglo American Corporation.

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer: Empowerdex (Pty) Ltd. He was appointed as a member of the DTI's BEE Task Team in 2003 and has advised both government departments as well as various corporates on matters of BEE. He is also a part-time lecturer at Wits.
