Criminal Law and Delict Unit

Hours of opening 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m on Fridays.

This unit is run by Peter Jordi and Willem de Klerk, with the assistance of candidate attorneys.

The unit deals with delictual claims which include:

• actions for damages arising out of personal injuries;

• actions for damages arising out of motor vehicle accidents,

• assault,

• medical negligence,

• police brutality or

• any other negligent or malicious cause.

The clinic can only assist members of the public who are indigent and qualify on an income means test, and who do not have the financial resources to pay for an attorney.
