Overview of Degrees at P&DM

P&DM provides quality management education for leaders and decision-makers in the public sector and development fields in South Africa and beyond.

As students at P&DM you will have access to academics with a practical understanding and knowledge of public and development management, cutting-edge research and innovative teaching and learning strategies aimed at enhancing your professional skills and understanding.

P&DM offers the following degrees by course work and research:

• Master of Management in the area of Public and Development Management: MM-P&DM.
• Master of Management in the area of Public Policy Masters: MM-PP
• Master of Management in the area of Social Secuity: MM SSPMA 
• Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and Masters of Management in the field of Security - PDM & MM - S 

P&DM offers the following degrees by research:

• Master of Management by Research and Dissertation
• PhD in the field of Public and Development Management

All applications have to be received, complete by the end of NOVEMBER in the year preceeding the year in which you intend to study. 

All applicants for the Masters by coursework and research are required to complete an admissions test, either at the school in Parktown, Johannesburg, or the GMAT where they live.

No application form will be considered unless the test results have been received from the testing officer.

The test assesses comprehension, writing skills, numerical ability, conceptual and abstract thinking.

Selection decisions are made on the basis of a holistic assessment of all three criteria appropriate work experience, performance in previous studies and test performance.
