COMPLETED PROJECTS

  

Infrastructure projects on Wits campuses include new buildings, extensions, alterations and major refurbishments across faculties and all aspects of campus life.

All projects are implemented within the planning parameters of the refreshed Spatial Development Framework (view Campus Future). Many projects have been identified and are at various stages of planning – some awaiting funding

Active projects are those which are currently under construction or are at an advanced planning stage. The largest of these is the R490m Wits Junction Residence Complex.

Refurbishment of the western part of Khanye Block in order to provide state of the art teaching, office and research facilities for the School of Therapeautic Sciences. Project funded through the Department of Higher Education and Training’s Clinical Skills Grant.
