What we have learnt through the implementation of the Targeting Talent Programme is that many students who have the potential for academic excellence often do not meet the criteria for high-current achievement, but are most likely to develop their potential if given extra assistance.

The African Leadership Academy has officially opened the 2012-13 window after successfully admitting a class of 94 students from 30 countries around the continent including 10 from South Africa.
