The South African Square Kilometre Array Project (SKA) is offering bursaries for the 2016 academic year to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who are intending to pursue their studies in the Engineering and Science fields.

Studietrust, an independent national bursary agency, aims to join forces with selected young people to assist them to empower themselves through further education and training. Studietrust in partnership with Standard Bank is offering a full-cost bursary to students who are academically excellent and in need of financial assistance. The deadline is 30 September 2015.

‘Bale’ is a Southern Sotho word meaning a group of woman initiatives in higher education. The Bale undergraduate scholarship programme aimed to promote access to higher education in the fields of science and engineering for academically talented black women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
