Community University Parternships (CUPS)

The Office of Community University PartnershipS (CUPS) is a unit in the division of ADVANCEMENT & PARTNERSHIPS. We coordinate all the university's COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT activities.

The office was restructured on the 1st of January 2008. SERVICE LEARNING and the WITS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME are no longer direct units of CUPS, but we still maintain an overview of these activities as part of the university's CE process.

CUPS now specifically focuses on strategic partnerships which are aligned with the university's  2010 and 2020 goals. 

This site also maintains a database of all Community Engagement activities in which staff and students are involved. The database is regularly updated, so please contact us if your activity is not captured on the database.
