

The Student Equity and Talent Management Unit has since its inception and to date, facilitated various pre university and scholarship programmes which are funded by various donors (local and international organisations). The aim of these programmes is to assist learners from both disadvantaged and better resourced backgrounds to access higher education opportunities and to provide them with the support needed to be successful in their studies.

![]() ![]() ![]() 26 April 2013 The Go to University to Succeed (GUTS) Programme hosted its annual Welcome Day on Saturday, 13th of April 2013 at the University of the Witwatersrand. The Welcome Day served to introduce new grade 11 learners and their parents to the programme, and to welcome returning grade 12 learners. ![]() ![]() ![]() 22 April 2013 SETMU will be hosting a careers day to provide TTP/TDP and GUTS grade 11 learners with an opportunity to find out about various career options available to them. This call for participation is extended to company representatives (working in any field) who would be interested in participating in this event. |
